About This Game

Three Kingdoms: Rival Mandates was created to let you enjoy 8 scenarios, 650+ officers, 32 special skills, city management, and turn-based battles with satisfying impact—all at a price of US$10 or less. For people who are busy and worn out by everyday life, we have preserved the fun of turn-based strategy while greatly reducing the frustrating delays and unnecessary waiting that interrupt the flow of play.

1. Battle

There are 29 combat skills in total. Some skills can be used through items or learned through the Teach command. Understanding your officers’ skills and deploying them where they can make a difference is the key to victory.

2. Trade

The game provides a price chart for trading rice. Prices vary with the seasons and harvest conditions. You can make a profit by buying rice when prices are low and selling when they are high.

3. Domestic Affairs

Develop your cities through domestic affairs to increase gold and rice income. Good governance also attracts more people, bringing in even more income.

4. Stratagems

Use stratagems to undermine rival rulers. Their chances of success depend on your advisor’s Tactics stat as well as the abilities of the officer carrying them out. Some stratagems also put your quick reactions to the test.

5. Diplomacy

If you start with a small faction, diplomacy is essential. Give gifts to improve relations and forge alliances. Ask your allies for aid when funds are short, or request reinforcements in times of war.

6. Rally

Moving troops in this game is simple. Build up your forces in multiple cities through conscription and recruitment, then use Rally to gather them in one city and quickly prepare to march.
