About This Game

"Crush sand. Crush time."
ThouSandSand

A sand-physics puzzle game with 1,000 grains and zero deadlines. Match, collapse, and kill time — one satisfying avalanche at a time.

About This Game

You've got a thousand grains of sand and nowhere to be.

ThouSandSand is a falling-sand puzzle game inspired by the classic SameGame formula. Tap matching clusters to clear them — but instead of rigid blocks, every grain tumbles, slides, and piles up with satisfying sand physics. Watch the board reshape itself with every move.

The Cavity — When you clear a cluster, the space doesn't collapse right away. A hollow cavity lingers in the sand. Clear another cluster before it caves in, and the cavities merge — growing bigger, more unstable, more spectacular. Push your luck and chain clears together for a massive cascading avalanche… or play it safe and let gravity do its thing.

It's the tension between thinking and acting. Plan your moves carefully with no time limit — but once you start a chain, the clock is ticking. How greedy can you afford to be?

The sand settles. You start again. There's always one more move to find.

Features

  • 1,000 Grains — Every grain is simulated. No grid tricks, no fake physics — just sand being sand.

  • Cavity Chain System — Hold off the collapse. Stack your clears. Trigger avalanches that reshape the entire board.

  • Think, Then Act — No timer while you plan. The pressure only starts when you make your first clear.

  • Endless Mode — No finish line. Just you, the sand, and the high score.

  • One More Turn — The kind of game where "five minutes" becomes an hour. Perfect for winding down, zoning out, or procrastinating with purpose.
