A word from the composer:
As I was putting together Tchia's soundtrack, I began to realize two things: one, presenting the more than four hours of music that I'd written for the game would require a deft touch, and two, the beauty of the ambient environmental audio captured and created by my friends Em, Millie, and Michelle from A Shell in the Pit truly enhanced the experience. I simply had to feature their work, somehow. After careful consideration of track order and flow, the album internally called "Tchia and Tchill" was born (I'm so sorry), a sort of "B-Sides" album featuring many of the more ambient cues I'd written, and allowing us to take a different, more relaxed path than the mainline album's journey of adventure.
Tchia's world was a beautiful and wonderful one to create music for, and I am incredibly proud to have been a small part in it.
Enjoy your time in the archipelago.
