About This Game
THE RULES ARE SIMPLE. ESCAPING IS NOT.
You are trapped in an endless loop. At first glance, the house looks normal... but your only weapons against the distorting reality are your attention to detail and an ordinary light switch.
Switch the Darkness is a short psychological horror game about hunting for anomalies.
HOW TO SURVIVE:
Memorize. Scrutinize the interior of the house. Every detail matters: the paintings on the walls, the furniture arrangement, the ambient sounds.
Find anomalies. Did that painting change? Is the houseplant breathing? Was that vase even there before?
Act.
Everything is normal? -> Go to bed and sleep.
Notice something strange? -> Flip the switch.
Remember: Just one mistake, and the loop starts all over again.
ABOUT THE GAME:
Your focus is your weapon: You are in control of the situation. Use your observation skills to weed out anomalies and pave your way to the next night.
Unpredictable anomalies: From a barely shifted chair to an unseen presence. No two cycles are exactly alike.
Oppressive atmosphere: No combat, no inventory. Just you, escalating paranoia, and a flashlight in the pitch black.
Short, but nerve-wracking: A concentrated dose of paranoia lasting 15–60 minutes. The perfect experience to test your nerves for an evening.
The darkness is already watching you. Don't let it take you.
