About This Game

Spider Subway is a speedrun game in which you must escape from a locked-down subway system as fast as possible. The subway trains operate according to a timetable, and you will need to rely on their schedules to travel between stations and explore your surroundings.

In addition to Tutorial Mode, the game features Speedrun Mode, a mode dedicated to time attack challenges. In this mode, you can create your own timetable for each station. Fine-tune the schedule, shave hundredths of a second off your completion time, and beat your own personal best!

Spider Subway has been designed and optimized around Speedrun Mode. Breeze through the tutorial, then take on the ultimate time attack challenge!

World Setting

In 2029, one hundred years after the Great Depression of 1929, the world was on the verge of a Second Great Depression following the collapse of the AI bubble. As stock markets suffered an unprecedented crash, a biological weapon being developed underground escaped containment amid the chaos, turning the nearby subway system into a living hell.

The story takes place in Tokyo, Japan, and in Little New York, a fictional district within the city. Experience unique stages and gameplay mechanics.

Features

The subway lines operate in loops, with the same train continuously traveling from station to station. Only one train operates on each line, so if you miss it, you will have to wait for it to make its way back around. Always keep an eye on the time and make sure you do not miss your train.

Tutorial Mode can be completed in approximately half an hour. Speedrun Mode, however, is designed for repeated attempts as players strive to improve their times.
