About This Game

Sketchy's Contract is a co-op sci-fi horror looting game set in a mysterious asteroid belt where you, a traveler, have caught wind of an strange broadcast while in deeps pace that promises a grand adventure with rewards beyond comprehension. Your duties will be simple but fun! Whether alone or with friends, you'll be able to travel to and explore exotic planets, harvest planetary materials, fight alien lifeforms, search for scattered loot, help run a burger shop, play mini games at an arcade and decorate your apartment and ship! The catch? There's no catch at all...

Story

While Sketchy's is NOT a story driven game, there is however, a small optional linear story that players can complete that will explain everything involving Sketchy. Simply follow the Story Quests as they lead you from planet to planet searching for something known as "Memory Fragments". You'll even be rewarded with your very own golden flamingo in-game trophy for completing it.

Leveling your Suit

Progression is incredibly important in Sketchy's. Your going to face some pretty deadly enemies and having enough  health and damage to take them on is crucial. The more loot you, the more XP you gain to level up, earning you points to spend at the Suit Modifier to change attributes such as Health, Attack Power, Stamina, and more.

The Night Shift

The Night Shift is one of the more unique aspects of Sketchy's. You get to decide whether to stay on the planet and survive the Night Shift or leave and not risking a Team Wipe. Staying overnight means getting access to much more valuable loot but also fighting much more deadly enemies. The choice is always yours.

Loot as much as you can!

  • Loot Sketchy Access Crates - The map is broken up into difficulty-based sections called Security Levels. Finding and opening access crates spread throughout the map can reveal codes that grant access to new security levels containing more valuable loot and higher security access crates..

  • Loot Gatherables - Gathering is one of the major of ways of getting loot to meet your quota. You'll be able to Dig up hidden treasure, Mine Ore, and Harvest Herbs all with the single click of a button. You will also be able to level up your  gathering skills via your suit modifier, allowing you to perform gathering actions much more efficiently.

  • Loot Corpses of the Creature you Kill - if you're brave enough, you can be the hunter instead of the hunted and kill creatures. Most of them can be picked up while some of them might require a shrink ray to make them light enough to carry.

Perk System - The Burger Shop

All loot is important and its even more so when it comes to the Burger Shop. Certain loot can be brought to the inventory room in the Burger Shop and restocked on the Shelves to build progress toward game perks. As you fill the inventory higher and higher, you'll gain access to things like cooking burgers, brewing coffee, and even a Black Market Vendor that spawns randomly on planets each contract with extremely powerful weapons/utilities items.

  • Cooking Burgers is just one of perks you can unlock. Consuming one of these instantly heals you to full then heal per second over 30 mins afterwards. Additionally all damage is increased by 10% for that duration.

  • Another perk is 30% discount from the Black Market Vendor who is a special NPC that appears randomly on different planets each contract based on planetary conditions. Everything sold here is pricey but powerful.

Keep in mind though that Aliens will visit the Burger Shop as you play, consuming a small amount of your Shop inventory as they order food. You'll need to work hard for the Burger Shop if you want to keep all those fancy optional Perks. The choice is yours.

Mini Games and Rewards

As your complete contracts, you'll gain rewards in the form of credits, arcade coins and gotcha coins all which can be used to purchase new player skins, furniture to decorate your apartment and ship, as well as play mini games at the arcade.

Decorate your space

Decorate your apartment with 100+ different unlockables and that's not to mention all the corpses you collected as trophies. There's even a loot convertor machine that allows you to convert collected loot into furniture so that you never lose them on a contract wipe.
