About This Game
Scoundrel: Deck Crawler is a roguelike pixel-art dungeon crawler game. Inspired by the classic Scoundrel solitaire, this version adds layers of strategy with ancient Tarot powers, boss encounters, and equipment management.
The Ritual: Choose Your Path
Your strategy begins before you even enter the dungeon. You must choose 4 Tarot cards from the 22 Major Arcana. Since every Tarot card has two sides (Upright and Reversed) with different effects, there are 117,040 unique combinations to explore. Every run starts with a different power, and every choice changes how you play.

Classic Scoundrel Rules
The game preserves the core challenge that made the original Scoundrel a classic:
The Room: Face 4 cards at a time. Decide which to fight, which to use as a weapon, and which to avoid.
Limited Gear: Weapons have 3 durability points. Use them carefully, or you will have to fight monsters with your bare hands.
Survival: You start with 20 Health. Every mistake counts, and every potion found is a second chance.

The Boss Room Mechanic
A new layer of danger is introduced with the Boss Mechanic. When an Ace of Spades or Clubs appears, it empowers every other monster in the room. You must use your best strategy to defeat these powered-up enemies.

Tactical Escape
Sometimes, survival means knowing when to run. Use the Escape mechanic to send a room's cards to the bottom of the deck. But beware: you are only delaying the inevitable. You must face those cards eventually—make sure you have the gear to handle them when they return.
