About This Game
ABOUT THIS GAME
Save the Red Box: Prologue is a minimalist precision platformer designed to test your reflexes and mastery of movement. This prologue features one highly-concentrated level specifically crafted to showcase the game's core mechanical loop.
The Chaos Loop
The objective is simple but the execution is brutal. Your mission is divided into two intense phases:
Trigger Chaos: Your first goal is to reach the Red Portal.
The Escape: Touching the Red Portal activates Chaos Mode. You must then navigate your way back to the Green Portal while the environment becomes significantly more dangerous.
Lethal Hazards
To survive, you must master your timing against a variety of environmental traps:
Fireballs & Spinning Fire Bars: Rapid projectiles and rotating beams that require frame-perfect movement.
Thwomps & Spikes: Heavy crushers and lethal floors that leave zero room for error.
Cannons & Lasers: Constant suppressive fire and precision beams designed to block your path.
Minimalist by Design
In this prologue version, the experience is stripped down to its bare essentials. Visuals consist entirely of boxes, and there is no sound, ensuring that your focus remains 100% on the pure mechanics and physics of the gameplay.
The Road Ahead
This version serves as a technical showcase for the foundation of the project. The full version of the game is planned to feature:
50 Challenging Levels with increasing complexity.
Polished Visuals and environmental details.
New Deadly Traps to further test your platforming skills.
