About This Game

Saikey Asset Manager is a desktop asset library built for game developers who work with large collections of purchased, downloaded, or self-made assets.

Instead of digging through folders one file at a time, Saikey Asset Manager helps you browse assets visually, discover related variants, review and organize files, inspect how assets are used, and export only what your project needs.

The app is especially useful for RPG Maker MV and RPG Maker MZ projects. Load an asset folder or RPG Maker project, and Saikey Asset Manager can scan maps, events, common events, database files, and plugin scripts to trace asset usage and identify deployment problems.

RPG Maker MV / MZ Tools

  • Load RPG Maker MV and MZ projects directly.

  • See which assets have confirmed references, no detected references, possible dynamic usage, or system/core roles.

  • Run Deployment Check to find missing references, case-sensitive path mismatches, conflicting filenames, missing system assets, unsafe deployment names, and other potential release problems.

  • Inspect exactly where an asset appears in maps, events, common events, database records, and plugin scripts.

  • Open referenced project files directly for faster debugging.

  • Use Map Dependencies to inspect the assets, events, common-event chains, plugin references, and missing files required by an individual map.

  • Export a map-specific asset bundle for testing, review, or collaboration.

  • Rename or move assets while updating safe, proven references.

  • Point proven references to another same-extension asset.

  • Decode standard RPG Maker encrypted assets locally for supported previews and exports without modifying the originals.

  • Review detailed change reports and persistent activity logs for project modifications.

Visual Asset Discovery

  • Browse asset packs and ordinary folders in a responsive visual library.

  • Search and filter by pack, category, extension, rating, review status, orientation, transparency, and file size.

  • Sort assets by name, rating, modification date, or file size.

  • Double-click an asset to enter a focused related-assets view, then return to your previous position with one click.

  • Find related files using smart relationships, folder structure, filename patterns, or local visual-similarity analysis.

  • Compare variants side by side.

  • Preview common images, audio files with playback controls, installed fonts, PSD artwork, compatible CLIP thumbnails, and video frames.

  • Use persistent thumbnail and preview caches for faster navigation through large libraries.

Review and Organization

  • Rate assets from 1 to 5 and assign review states such as Approved, Maybe Usable, Needs Editing, or Do Not Use.

  • Batch-edit ratings, review states, categories, and local tags across multiple selected assets.

  • Mark favorites, maintain recently viewed files, and organize project collections.

  • Keep personal tags, metadata, and license-use notes without modifying purchased asset files.

  • Analyze image packs locally for likely adult content and review the results by confidence category. Images are not uploaded.

  • Detect exact duplicate files and groups of likely variants across large libraries.

  • Automatically detect added, modified, or missing files and reload only the affected packs.

Export and Pack Management

  • Multi-select assets with Ctrl-click, Shift-click ranges, or Select All Shown.

  • Build a persistent export queue and review every queued file before copying.

  • Export into the original folder hierarchy or a single flat folder.

  • Preview destination paths, overwrites, and filename collisions before export.

  • Generate asset sheets for quick visual review.

  • Run pack health checks for missing files, duplicate IDs, duplicate content, and absent licenses.

  • Import persistent custom packs without changing the original folder.

  • Build DLC-ready asset packs with manifests, preserved folder structures, metadata, README files, and license information.

Why Use It?

Saikey Asset Manager is designed to make asset-heavy development easier to navigate and safer to maintain. It helps answer three practical questions:

“Where is the asset I need?”

“Which variants belong with it?”

“Is my game already using it safely?”
