About This Game

Nova Strider is a top-down sci-fi score-attack game that takes place high up in the atmosphere.

A hostile alien army is attempting a surprise invasion of the planet. And as the sole captain of the Strider, you play as humanity's last line of defense against the invading forces.

-- Gameplay --

Blow up aliens using your rocket-boosters!

Dashing is the only way to move, so every input counts. After a while, enemies start spawning in linked pairs, making them invulnerable until their link is broken. Use short dashes for positioning and charged heavy dashes to attack once you've found the perfect angle.

Every kill increases your score multiplier, but getting hit instantly resets it. Plan your movements carefully and try to keep the multiplier alive for as long as possible!

-- Local leaderboard --

The game features a leaderboard that locally keeps track of and ranks each players high-score.

After every run, you can choose to save your score to the leaderboard by entering your name.
