About This Game
The combos that win are the ones that actually happened.
Inga Chronicle is a deckbuilding roguelike built on authentic Japanese history — from the Asuka period to the Bakumatsu era. Every card represents a real historical figure, policy, or event. Every combo is a real cause-and-effect chain that shaped Japan.
This isn't a game with a Japanese coat of paint. Its content is derived from Japan's national high school curriculum — the same material tested in university entrance exams. The stronger your grasp of historical causality, the stronger your deck becomes.
Example: Land Reform Chain
"Taika Reform" → "Handen-Shuju Law" → "Konden Einen Shizai Law" → "Rise of Shoen Estates"

Causal Combos — History IS the Meta
Play cards in historically accurate sequences or relationships to trigger powerful [Causal Combos].
The deeper your understanding of historical context and causality, the stronger your deck becomes.
Oda Nobunaga's March to Power:
"Battle of Okehazama" → "Battle of Nagashino" → "Incident at Honno-ji"
Hideyoshi's Centralization:
"Sword Hunt" → "Land Survey (Taiko Kenchi)" → "Kokudaka System"
Sonnō Jōi Ideology:
"Rangaku (Dutch Studies)" → "Kokugaku (National Learning)" → "Mitogaku"
The more you know, the more advantage you gain. The more you play, the more you learn.
