About This Game

Congratulations on your new role in HR. Unfortunately, the role is in Hell, your staff are demons, and the coffee has opinions.

A demon quit last month, died shortly after, and has now returned as a ghost to request the exit interview she never got. Do you: listen sincerely, rush her out, or hire the ghost back, part-time? That's one case. Your inbox has hundreds.

It's your worst Monday, forever. Each day, impossible cases land on your desk — possessed printers, soul-quota shortfalls, an intern who opened a portal in the supply closet "to hit a deadline." Read the case, pick one response, and live with it. Every decision moves your Budget, Morale, Reputation, Stress, and Favor — and you cannot keep them all happy.

Survive five days and the Board reviews your numbers. Pass, and you choose a perk — some last a week, some last the rest of your contract. Some weeks the Company also hauls you into a Corporate Trial to defend your record — yes, including the ghost — where every answer is a trade-off and the verdict merely decides guilty of what. Fall short twice and the floor opens beneath you.

Then you clock in again. There are thirteen known ways out of this job. You'll find maybe one.

Features

  • ☄️ A darkly funny office in Hell — handle hundreds of absurd HR cases, from thermostat wars and dress codes limiting horn height to 18 inches to three managers who report to each other in a circle, where decisions go in and never come out

  • ⚖️ You are the evidence — Corporate Trials cite your actual rulings; demons you helped testify for you, demons you burned testify against you

  • 🎭 A cast that remembers you — the demons you help or burn keep score, and turn up again when it matters. Some storylines run deeper: Brenda the intern may quietly be running Hell, and Pemberton the Eternal Auditor never closes a case. You won't meet everyone in one run.

  • 🃏 Build your management style — perks and policies let you rule by fear, kindness, or pure profit

  • 💀 13 endings to discover — escape to Heaven, get promoted to Vice President of Eternal Torment, hand your empire to Brenda, or burn out (literally)

  • ⏱️ One contract, start to finish — 30 days, one sitting if you're brave. Three difficulties: PROBATION spells out what each choice will cost you. STANDARD tells you nothing. DAMNATION also hides what the Board wants, and offers no second chance.

The position is open because the last manager left through the floor. Hell is hiring.
