Green Hat Battle

Put another green hat on your rival's head.

Green Hat Battle is a third-person 3D party brawler. Take control of a quirky character, run and jump around the arena, and toss green hats at your opponents. Every hit earns points and adds another hat to their stack. While you're chasing someone down, watch out for the hat flying in from behind!

Get your friends together for a hat-throwing free-for-all

• Online brawls for 2–10 players: create or join a room through Steam and invite your friends to play.

• You can battle solo, too: enter Bot Mode, face nine computer-controlled opponents, and choose a difficulty that suits you.

Read the landing spot before you throw

Hats fly along a parabolic arc, so distance, positioning, and timing all affect your aim. Use the trajectory and landing previews to line up a throw, or hold Ctrl for help aiming at an opponent's head. Hats don't home in after you release them, so you'll still need to lead moving targets. Sprint, jump, and block incoming hats, then look for a chance to strike back.

Fifteen hats? Back in action in two seconds

Once fifteen hats pile up on your head, your character goes down and respawns two seconds later. Return to the arena with a clear head, ten hats in your inventory, and all your points from the current match intact. Walk near hats on the ground to pick them up and replenish your supply. A sudden hat shower can shake up the brawl, too!

Ten characters, four maps

From Office Survivor and Delivery Hero to Shy Cardboard and Mr. Banana, all ten characters look different but have the same abilities. Pick your favorite! The four maps are Cloud Courtyard, Slippery Rink, Muddy Worksite, and Amethyst Rooftop. Watch out for slippery ice and mud that slows you down, and use the arena's obstacles to change your position in a fight.

Play at your own pace

Matches have no time limit by default, but you can also choose a 3-, 5-, or 10-minute match. When time runs out, players are ranked by the points earned from hits. The match report tracks your accuracy, best combo, longest throw, and more, so you can look back on the action. The game interface supports 30 languages, including Simplified Chinese, and you can switch languages in the settings.
