About This Game

Read the tape. Ride the wave. Die by leverage.

GOD CANDLE is a real-time trading roguelite. You get a $1,000,000 book and ten trading days to retire. Each day is a 45-second sprint through market hours — go long, go short, lever up, and clear the closing-bell target, or the margin clerk shuts the desk down.

Every run is a different market

  • Choose your ticker each morning from a shortlist with volatility and behavior readouts — ten of them, from sleepy $GLD to pure-chaos $GME.
  • Nine market-event bosses: Earnings Day, FOMC, Squeeze Watch, Flash Crash, Melt-Up, Quad Witching, Circuit Breaker, OPEX Pin, and The Bear.
  • Ten daily market conditions on top — Volatility Storm, Algo Chop, Data Blackout, Gamma Ramp, Zero Commission Day, and more.
  • Shuffled boss order, jittered targets, rerolled tickers. No two runs play the same.

Build a gloriously broken trader

  • Four classes, each with an exclusive two-power kit: The Chad rides 5x leverage, The Quant sees six ticks into the future, The Cockroach refuses to die, The Insider gets a free tip line that rings four times a day.
  • 29 relics and 16 powers. Draft one of three after every bell, or perma-install tools with Street Cred so they're live from day one.
  • Relics that reward a style — scalping, diamond-handing, hot streaks — and light up when you pair the right ones.
  • Print the GOD CANDLE: a divine, screen-shaking vertical candle straight into your position.

Read the tape, not the headline

  • Earnings follow guidance, not the EPS print. A beat can tank. A miss can rip.
  • Every ticker hides a good, mid, or bad book. You infer it from noisy sector-relative signals — and some of those signals are cooked.
  • Draw stop orders straight onto the chart. Trim, flip, and scale mid-tape.
  • Optional side contracts every morning, paid at the bell. Tempting. Never mandatory.

The floor has opinions

  • 26 in-day floor events with real stakes: take the bribe, buy the hot tip, ride the pump, park cash in real estate, wine, or art — decisions that pay off, or detonate, the next day.
  • Rare gold JACKPOT and red DISASTER events that can make or end a run.

Then do it again, harder

  • Four difficulties from Rookie to Prop Desk, then Ascension on top.
  • A seeded Daily Gauntlet — same market for everyone, every day.
  • Endless mode for when ten days stops being enough.
  • 29 achievements, Career records per class, a Hall of Fame, and a leaderboard.
  • A Trophy Room of ten chart skins bought with Street Cred.

Built for it

  • Procedural synth soundtrack and per-action SFX, synthesized in-engine.
  • Colorblind palette, UI scaling, and toggles for screen shake, extra effects, and CRT scanlines.
  • Full controller support with device-aware prompts and seamless switching between gamepad and keyboard/mouse.
  • Steam Cloud saves. Runs on a laptop.

Every death is your own greed. Retire forever — or get liquidated.
