About This Game

Midway through the journey of your life, you have found yourself at the gates of the legendary Abbey of St. Theleme, a monastery of great learning and of great mystery. 

Ex Libris is a library-crawling RPG adventure set in a 16th century monastery, inspired by the writings of Umberto Eco, Francois Rabelais, and Clark Ashton Smith. 

Built using FromSoft's Sword of Moonlight RPG toolkit (based on the King's Field engine), Ex Libris is a unique retro literary adventure. Explore the monastery and its ruins, learn ancient tongues, uncover lost texts, and unravel the strange threads that bind the obscure history of Theleme and its inhabitants, including yourself.
