About This Game
Steel, snow, and the last breath of a dying Reich.
Easy Red 2: Blood on the Danube - Hungary 1945 is an expansion focused on some of the final and most brutal battles of the Eastern Front of World War 2. It takes the conflict to Hungary, ranging from large-scale armored operations to bloody street-to-street urban warfare that pushes base Easy Red 2's systems further than ever before.CAMPAIGNS
The DLC features three campaigns, each covering a major historical scenario:- The Siege of Budapest, sometimes known as "the Stalingrad of the Waffen-SS", a 102 day vicious urban battle where German and Hungarian forces were encircled by the Red Army.
- The Konrad Offensives, the failed attempts by various elite Axis forces to free Budapest from Soviet encirclement. Set in rural Hungary east of the great Lake Balaton during a harsh winter, huge battles of armor and troops await.
- Operation Spring Awakening, the final Axis offensive of the war, fought also near Lake Balaton, its failure marking the last ground gained by the Third Reich. One of the largest tank engagements of the late Eastern Front.
Across all three of these campaigns, experience 30+ missions across two maps.
