About This Game
Everything is best enjoyed with friends: Fall into the Backrooms with 1-5 players and use proximity voice chat to communicate! Make sure to not lose each other, or you won't hear your friends anymore... Don't worry they will always hear you.
The monsters don’t just hunt you—they hear you. Unlike most other Backrooms games, the enemies react to your real voice. Your microphone becomes a tool for survival, don't scream too loud!
Built with the currently available most recent version of Unreal Engine 5, expect realistic visuals feeling like you're looking through an old camera.
Solve puzzles together to escape from the Backrooms - some demand more teamwork than others. Puzzles will dynamically adjust to the number of players during runtime, so you will need your friends that are currently in the Backrooms with you and even if they leave, you can keep going!
CoopRooms requires you not only to escape the Backrooms, but also to record your experience using a camera available to your group. You will need successful escapes in combination with good recordings to progress to the next level of the Backrooms. You will be able to watch your experience in the case of a failure, too!
Some objectives will need a brave player to take specific photos. Every picture you take inside the Backrooms will be saved locally for each player and also shown in the lobby gallery for everyone to view. Whether it’s proof of something terrifying or a funny team moment, your shots become part of the story.
In CoopRooms, getting caught by an entity doesn't mean game over. Instead, you’ll return as a drone—a floating presence that can move freely, communicate with your team using proximity voice chat, and even assist your friends in escaping… or, if you’re feeling a little funny, you could choose to help the entities instead.

Only Level 0 without procedual generation
2 types of enemies
English, German, Russian and Chinese localization
Supports 1-8 players for experimental purposes for the full version
Recording Videos and taking photos are optional tasks
