About This Game
ScrapBots is a first-person melee brawler developed by a team of nine undergraduate game development students at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). Designed as our capstone project, our goal was to show off our strengths while learning and growing as game designers in the process.
ScrapBots is set on an abandoned junk planet inhabited by ruthless robots tearing each other apart. The player takes control of a robot named Junk Dog, a hermit on a quest to defeat the leader of the most powerful faction in the wasteland. Use junk dogs’ unique function of interchangeable arms and other combat capabilities to help survive the savage bots of the wasteland.
Fast First-Person Combat: Use both fists to box other bots into scrap. Take their left-over arms to fuel Junk dog’s rampage across the wasteland.
Interchangeable Arms: Equip a variety of arms from Junk dog’s defeated enemies, each with unique punches and stats. Mix arms to find the best play style for the situation.
Environmental Traps: Scattered across the wasteland are dangerous traps junk dog can leverage to speed up his killing.
Movement abilities: Dash around the enemy to stay in the fight longer and help get across the wasteland terrain.
Will you scrap your enemies or become scrap yourself?
