Chained Beasts

Step into the Colosseum chained to your friends. Chained Beasts is a co-op gladiator roguelike for 1-4 players, combining brutal combat with teamwork and slapstick moments. Can you gather your friends, crush your enemies, win the crowd and gain your freedom?

Gladiatorial Combat

Slash and hack your enemies in this brutal gladiator roguelike or use the environment against them. Hurl an urn at your foes or hurl your foes at an urn. Charge them into a wall of spikes or a pit of snakes. Throw your weapons to take down enemies from a distance but be sure you have another at hand or you might find yourself in trouble.

Chained to Your Friends

Don’t struggle alone, gather four ferocious friends and you’ll be chained together in cruel and creative ways. If you can’t coordinate you’ll end up tangled around a pillar or worse but synchronize your efforts and you can trip your enemies and turn the tables.

Battle Brutal Bosses

As your fame rises you will battle brutal bosses, heroes of the arena, armed to the teeth with every advantage at their disposal. The deck will be stacked against you but victory will bring you one step closer to Rome and a chance at freedom or revenge.

Survive Ghastly Wounds

Each day in the arena leaves you with new wounds to add to your misery. Struggle on with a painful limp, try to get by with a missing left eye or flail madly at hallucinations only you can see. There are potions to relieve your pain but the side effects can leave you with worse afflictions, perhaps surgery is the answer…

Struggle Forges Character

Do not lose hope, experience in the arena can also forge you into a brutal fighter. Learn powerful skills to overcome your foes. Win the crowd and they will always have your back. Save up money and buy equipment and weapons that can turn the tide in battle. Unlock new characters with powerful abilities. Each run will require that you take a different path.
