Sobre este jogo

Step into spaces that feel familiar—and somehow wrong.

LIMSCAPE is a first-person exploration game about entering quiet liminal spaces and uncovering the meanings hidden within them.

You can simply walk. You can climb, swim, and press farther into the unknown.

Beyond that, you can shape the world with your own hands.

Explore. Create. Leave something behind. LIMSCAPE is a world for meeting space at your own pace.

Begin with five official stages.

Hotels, flood-control facilities, metro stations, pools, offices, and cities—

liminal spaces that feel nostalgic yet uneasy invite you on a quiet journey.

You are not only searching for an exit. Discover the stories within these spaces and the meaning embedded in the world of LIMSCAPE.

The condition for clearing a stage is extremely simple.

Move forward and reach the goal.

That is where everything begins.

Exploration does not end with walking.

Swim, jump, crouch, climb, pick up, and throw—

use your body through simple controls, moving through spaces horizontally and vertically.

At first, walking is enough. As your journey continues, you will find places that can only be reached by climbing, swimming, and leaping across.

In the end, you may realize something.

Why did you keep entering LIMSCAPE and seeking the goal?

What is LIMSCAPE, and what purpose does it hold?

【CREATE AND SHARE】

Another journey begins with your own hands.

"Don't be a pawn, be the hand."

The world does not end when you reach the goal.

Beyond the official stages, another possibility awaits.

—You can create a world with your own hands.

Sandbox Mode lets anyone assemble spaces intuitively and bring them to life.

Place and adjust objects with simple tools

Control light, shadow, and physics as you wish

Edit in real time and create a place of your own

Worlds you create can be saved, exported, and imported.

On LIMSCAPERS, you can publish and share the worlds you create.

Published worlds become shared spaces that others can visit and explore.

Starting with LIMSCAPE 1.62.0, we will also release Multiplay Beta through LIMSCAPERS.

Explore a public world in the same space as other players, or share a private room with people you invite.

From explorer to creator.

LIMSCAPE quietly supports that first step.

【PLEASE NOTE】

What to know before you play

We recommend playing LIMSCAPE on a desktop PC with a dedicated GPU.

Laptops and lower-performance graphics environments may not deliver the intended experience.

LIMSCAPE is not designed around pursuing the highest possible frame rate.

It is designed with a target of up to 60 fps,

and is optimized to provide a smooth, weighty, film-like experience even around 25 fps.

(Even on high-spec PCs, setting a frame-rate limit may result in a lighter, smoother experience.)

Sandbox Mode has depth to master.

However, it is designed for beginners to enjoy step by step,

starting with small worlds and gradually growing a space of their own.

LIMSCAPE is an exploration game,

but it also holds potential as a tool for film work and art projects.

【VISION】

A world does not end with one person.

LIMSCAPE continues beyond exploration and creation.

LIMSCAPE is more than an exploration game.

As a "tool for creating worlds,"

we aim for it to become a place for art, filmmaking, and people sharing the same space.

We also plan to add features that further expand the world of LIMSCAPE, including VR support.

This journey has only just begun.

The worlds you create will expand LIMSCAPE's future.

【SYSTEM COMPATIBILITY NOTES】

○ macOS / CrossOver compatibility

LIMSCAPE does not currently run properly on macOS through CrossOver. We believe this is because Shader Model 6 (SM6) and DirectX 12, used by Unreal Engine, are not yet fully supported by CrossOver.

On native Mac hardware, LIMSCAPE's hardware global illumination (hardware ray tracing) is unavailable. Software global illumination may run, but image quality and performance are substantially reduced and do not meet the intended LIMSCAPE experience. Therefore, a native macOS release is undecided at this time.

If macOS (Metal) and Unreal Engine fully support rendering features comparable to Windows in the future, we are prepared to release a Mac version as soon as possible.

○ LIMSCAPE platform support status (as of 2026)

LIMSCAPE is designed as a project focused on high-quality rendering, using Shader Model 6 (SM6) and DirectX 12 as core rendering technologies.

As a result, supported environments are currently limited. As engines and hardware evolve and support expands, we plan to release native versions for additional platforms in sequence.

Windows is the only officially supported platform at this time.

There are reports of LIMSCAPE running on Steam Deck, but this has not been officially tested or guaranteed.

Platform support details

• Native Mac (UE5.6 Metal RHI): Partially supported

SM6, Nanite (experimental support on some M2-and-later hardware), and Software Lumen can run. Hardware ray tracing is not supported.

• CrossOver (Wine layer): Not supported

SM6 and DirectX 12 are not supported.

• Parallels (virtualization): Not supported

DirectX 12 emulation is incomplete or unsupported.

• Steam Deck (Proton): Reports of operation

SM6 is partially covered through Vulkan translation

Added May 4, 2026

We have raised the minimum GPU requirement.
• RTX 2060 / Radeon RX 6600 or higher

A hardware Lumen-capable GPU is recommended.

Non-hardware-ray-tracing GPUs such as the GTX 1660 Super may still launch and run the game with substantially reduced settings. However, Software Lumen may impose significant limits on image quality and stability, and the experience may differ greatly from the intended visual presentation.
