Sobre este jogo
Welcome to EthrA
EthrA is a 3D pixel-art open-world RPG with a heavy focus on exploration and combat, where you play two protagonists together on a journey across the continent to slowly unravel a thousand-year-old lie.
You will play as Bob, a farm boy searching for a more interesting life, and Veil, a lost child of a rare species with a natural affinity with magic. Together you will explore the continent filled with ruins, towns, rumors, quests, and trouble that keeps finding them along the way.
Fast dual-character combat
In EthrA, you control both Bob and Veil at the same time. Bob handles close-range combat, while Veil is in charge of casting spells and buffs.
Depending on the situation, Veil can stay mounted on Bob's back, allowing you to control both characters as one. This keeps Veil protected and makes it easier to focus on Bob's movement and attacks.
If you want to play more aggressively, you can put Veil on the ground and control him with orders. Enemies will have two targets to worry about, dividing their attention and creating more opportunities to attack. However, this also puts Veil at greater risk. If he is defeated, Bob will lose his magical support and be left at a serious disadvantage.
Learning when to keep Veil protected and when to separate the two is an important part of EthrA's combat.
If all of this sounds too complex, don't worry; Veil has an auto mode (Also recommended for experienced players).
Build your playstyle
Bob can carry two weapon sets. In each set, you can equip his left and right hands independently with different weapons, allowing you to seamlessly swap between setups during combat depending on the situation.
Veil can also be equipped with different spells, letting you customize his magic and swap abilities to complement the way you play Bob.
As you progress through the story, you will unlock new melee moves, spells, artifacts, gear, and more ways to combine close-range pressure with magical support.
Currently, swords, shields, spears, greatswords, and bows are implemented in the game. Dual daggers are next on our list, with additional weapons planned as development continues.

Minigames
EthrA isn't only about fighting and following the main storyline. When you need a break from adventuring, you can spend time fishing, cooking, farming, or working on your home.
We want these activities to give you quieter moments with the world, letting you slow down and spend time in it at your own pace.
Gather resources
EthrA's world is filled with natural resources that you can gather as you explore, helping you prepare for whatever comes next. These materials can be used for crafting, upgrading equipment, and creating useful tools.
The world of EthrA
The world was shaped by an ancient civilization now known simply as the Ancients. They combined technology and magic and prospered for generations. Then, centuries ago, for reasons no one can explain, they vanished.
What they left behind are ruins, unreadable symbols, strange machines, and enormous Monoliths that continue to generate the energy people now call EthrA.
EthrA is an energy that exists throughout the world. In its natural state, it behaves like a gas and can be easily recognized by the dense blue fog it creates.
Humans cannot manipulate EthrA directly. Instead, the energy must be condensed and stored inside crystals before it can be used.
Most of this energy is harvested from the enormous ancient structures known as Monoliths. These enormous ancient structures continuously generate EthrA, surrounding themselves with dense concentrations of blue fog.
Empty EthrA crystals can be charged near them. Under the right conditions, EthrA can also naturally crystallize into fragments with different forms, colors, and properties. These charged crystals have become an important source of energy throughout the world.
For centuries, researchers have tried to understand how the Monoliths produce EthrA. The symbols and patterns covering them match those found throughout ancient ruins, linking them to the Ancients, but their true purpose and the mechanisms keeping them active remain unknown.
EthrA isn't harmless, however.
Exposure to extremely high concentrations can cause living tissue to slowly crystallize. The condition is rare and primarily affects explorers who venture too close to areas with unusually high EthrA concentrations.
The condition is known as Permanent Crystallization Syndrome, or PCS.
Once the process begins, even amputating the affected limb cannot stop it from spreading.
No cure for PCS has been found yet.
