Vertical Slice 2 brings a substantial content upgrade to the Pioneer Edition, expanding the artbook with new tools, construction stages, components, suits, and character designs that further define visual direction of Space Engineers 2.

A major highlight is the introduction of planetary content: with VS2 enabling in-game planetary exploration, the Pioneer Edition now includes newly added sections dedicated to worlds like Verdure and Kemik. These pages showcase updated biomes, foliage systems, planetary lighting, terrain details, and environmental diversity shaping SE2’s next-generation planets.

We’ve also enriched the engineering experience with redesigned tools, decorative blocks, propulsion upgrades, and improved welding equipment.
