THE CLASSIC NO-CODE 3D GAMEMAKER IS BACK

The 3D Gamemaker is a complete point-and-click game-making tool that lets you create your own playable 3D games without writing a line of code.

Choose your world, select a player, add enemies, weapons, objects, and sounds, then jump straight into your creation and play.

Whether you want to put together a frantic shooter, a creepy horror game, a sci-fi adventure, a driving challenge, or simply experiment with classic 3D game design, The 3D Gamemaker gives you an approachable way to start creating.

LEGACY PRODUCT INFORMATION

The 3D Gamemaker is presented on Steam as a legacy game-development product.

As a legacy product, a few features are no longer supported, specifically access to the original T3DGM web portal. All core game-creation features function out of the box.  Note: Exported standalone games will require 4 support files to be included manually to support modern Windows (provided in Exes\Default folder).

The 3D Gamemaker retains the interface, workflow, and visual character of its original era. Please review the system requirements before purchasing.

MAKE A GAME IN MINUTES

Creating your first game couldn't be simpler.

  • Choose a 3D scene for your game

  • Select your player

  • Pick enemies and opponents

  • Equip your game with weapons and items

  • Add obstacles, scenery, sounds, and music

  • Test your creation whenever you want

  • Keep changing it until you have the game you want

No programming language to learn. No complex development environment to master. Start choosing, experimenting, and playing.

LET MAGIC GAME BUILD ONE FOR YOU

Want to see what The 3D Gamemaker can do straight away?

Use Magic Game and let the software automatically assemble a playable game for you.

Generate a completely random combination or choose from 99 built-in game setups, then jump straight in and play.

It's a fast way to discover new combinations, get inspiration for your own creations, or simply see what happens when The 3D Gamemaker takes control.

BEGINNER MODE OR STANDARD MODE — YOU CHOOSE

Start simple and add more control when you're ready.

Beginner Mode concentrates on the essentials, letting you choose the major ingredients while The 3D Gamemaker takes care of much of the setup.

Switch to Standard Mode when you want to go further. Take more control of your game, customise layouts, and decide where enemies, items, and obstacles should appear.

You can begin making something almost immediately, then explore the deeper options at your own pace.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO START CREATING

The 3D Gamemaker comes packed with ready-to-use game content:

  • 550+ game objects

  • 90+ different enemies

  • 70+ weapons

  • Hundreds of ready-made 3D scenes

  • Sounds and music

  • Visual assets and textures

  • Items, obstacles and scenery

Mix and match the included content to create an enormous variety of different games without having to make your own artwork or models first.

CHOOSE YOUR WORLD

One game can take you into a dark crypt filled with monsters. The next can put you behind the wheel of a vehicle or drop you into a futuristic battlefield.

Explore a wide selection of themes and settings, including action, horror, war, space, driving, jungle and more.

Change the scene, characters, enemies, and equipment, and discover how different your next creation can become.

PUT EVERYTHING WHERE YOU WANT IT

Want more control over how your game plays?

The built-in placement tools allow you to customise your levels by deciding where enemies, items and obstacles appear.

Experiment with different layouts, enemy combinations and object placement, test the result, then return to the editor and change it again.

It's classic game design reduced to a simple visual workflow.

CREATE. TEST. CHANGE. PLAY AGAIN.

You don't need to wait until your game is finished to see whether an idea works.

Test your game at any point during creation, play what you have made, then return and make changes.

Swap an enemy. Try another weapon. Change the environment. Rearrange your level. Add more objects.

The short journey between creating and playing makes The 3D Gamemaker ideal for experimenting with ideas just for the fun of seeing what happens.

TURN YOUR CREATION INTO A WINDOWS GAME

When your project is ready, The 3D Gamemaker can build your creation as a standalone Windows executable.

Create something for yourself, build games for friends, or preserve your own little piece of classic PC game-making history.

A PIECE OF GAME-MAKING HISTORY

Originally released in 2001, The 3D Gamemaker introduced aspiring developers of all ages around the world to the excitement of creating their own 3D games.

Its philosophy was simple: game creation shouldn't have to begin with months of programming lessons.

Pick what you want. Put the pieces together. Press play.

More than two decades later, that straightforward approach remains part of its charm.

Now the original 3D game maker returns on Steam, preserved for existing fans, curious newcomers, collectors of classic creative software, and anyone who wants to experience an unusually fast and approachable way to make a 3D game.

The 3D Gamemaker is back. What will you make?
