About This Game
Red Rooms is a time-sensitive, hour-long, tense, free-roam, strategy game in which you must defend yourself against ominous entities. Defend yourself by using your camera flash, holding doors shut, and closing curtains. Each entity requires a specific action to defend against it. If you do not act quickly, you will die.
You will start in a distorted version of your world. You are told by a disembodied voice that you have made a deal you must uphold. It tells you you've done this before. Only, you have no recollection of this deal. You must find out what this deal is and why you made it in the first place.
Will you accept the entity's deal, or will you refuse? There are consequences to your actions.
Red Rooms contains an original soundtrack with guest appearances to amplify feelings of fear, dread, and calm. While the soundtrack was intended to be its own project, it blossomed into a game as well.
Features:
First-person horror gameplay focused on arcade-like survival (FNAF inspired).
Nearly an hour of gameplay.
Works based on a night system.
Multiple hostile entities, each with unique mechanics and counters (available in tutorial section of the main menu UI).
Story-driven segments where the player must follow the sounds of screams and take pictures of blood to progress the story.
Choice-based ending with consequences for your decisions.
Original soundtrack featuring guest appearances designed to evoke fear, dread, and moments of calm.
Free-roam gameplay (the player is restricted to only the house through most of the game).
There is only one game mode at this time.
You came back home to her, just as you did before.

Defend yourself against its children.
Will you pick up the camera again, or will you finally put an end to all of this?
