Mycelium Conquest Mitosis is the free, co-op only edition of the biological network automation game, Mycelium Conquest. Team up with up to 3 friends and crash-land on the alien world of Xenoterris as a living fungal organism. Grow a sprawling mycelial network together, build complex production chains, and evolve with your friends from a tiny spore into a powerful entity capable of consuming the planet.

Grow or Die Together

Start as a vulnerable nascent spore and consume alien creatures and local flora to gather biomass. Hunt, kill, and absorb everything in your path across 5 evolution stages — from a fragile organism barely surviving to a cosmic entity that consumes worlds. Divide the hunt, cover each other's flanks, and overwhelm prey no single spore could take alone.

Build Living Infrastructure Together

Construct biological structures to process raw resources through multi-stage production chains. Decompose organic matter, refine enzymes, and manage bottlenecks across sprawling factory complexes. Every connected player can build, so coordinate your layout, specialise your roles, and turn the wild into a living machine.

Automate Everything Together

Design production lines that transform basic resources into advanced materials. Optimize throughput, eliminate bottlenecks, and scale from a handful of structures to continental harvesting operations spanning vast distances. Your network grows as fast as your team can build it.

Defend Your Network Together

Your growth attracts hostile alien creatures in escalating waves. Fight back with acidic spray attacks and build defensive structures. The bigger your network, the bigger the threats — and with friends at your side, the bigger the fights you can survive.

A note on this free edition

Mycelium Conquest: Mitosis is a free, cooperative multiplayer-only version of the game Mycelium Conquest, playable with up to 4 players — but the following features are not available in this edition:

• No co-op saved games — your session lives only as long as it's running. There is no autosave and no manual save.

• No Steam achievements

• No Steam Cloud

• No single-player mode — co-op requires at least one friend to start the game.
