Unlock The Hardest Levels

• Level 4: Requires a B+ performance or higher.

• Level 8: Demands an A+ performance.

• Level 12: Unlocks only with an S+, proving mastery over all previous levels.

Co-op Multiplayer and Solo Play

Do it solo or team up with friends in co-op multiplayer. Strategize, share tricks, and farm points together to boost your progress. Whether solo or co-op, the struggle is real!

Bunny Hopping & Speed Mechanics

At the core of Git Gud is its bunny hopping mechanic, crucial for navigating levels and achieving high scores.

• Hold the jump key to keep jumping automatically and build momentum as you move.

After six consecutive jumps, unlock a double jump—a vital skill for advanced levels and improved performance.

Speedrunning & Timers

Every second counts in Git Gud. Built-in timers track your personal bests on every level. Push your limits, smash your old records, and climb the leaderboard. Secure a top-ten spot, and your name gets displayed on the board for the world to see.

Customization and QR (Quick Retry) Points

• Start with the default outfit and trail, unlocking new items by earning QR points through gameplay.

• QR points are awarded based on your performance—higher levels and better scores mean bigger bonuses.

• Playing with friends? Earn extra QR points whenever they beat a level, making co-op even more rewarding.

• QR points aren’t just for store items—they’re vital for quick retries and overcoming tougher challenges.

Each retry costs QR points, and running out means heading back to Level 1 to earn more. As the difficulty ramps up, retries become increasingly costly, making smart QR point management crucial for success in later stages.

Tryhard Mode: Double the Risk, Double the Reward

Feeling gud enough? Activate Tryhard Mode for 200 QR points to unlock a 15-minute timer that doubles your QR earnings for completed levels.

• Be warned—retries in this mode also cost double QR points.

Use Tryhard Mode strategically to farm QR on levels you’ve mastered.
