Massive Multiplayer Map

Explore a massive 1,200 km² open-world map on an epic journey with 5,000 other players on a single server. Travel through 12 distinct terrains and bio-environments, finding, collecting, and hunting hundreds of unique items, vegetation, resources, and wild animals. Endure hot and cold environments, facing their harsh effects on your body.

From western-style towns to hidden laboratories where mysteries unfold, from snowy mountaintops to rushing rivers. Every inch of the world contains opportunities but also danger. Region specific mutants and resources require you to put more effort to deal with or to get.

Versatile Fighting Dynamic

Wield weapons ranging from the iconic machete and crossbows to the common pistol and sophisticated sniper rifle. Killing a single Infected might only require a machete or hunting bow, but a horde of them? Machine guns, RPGs, and grenades are your best choices. A Titan mutant? You’ll need a group of teammates armed with your best firearms.

The real challenge, however, comes from other survivors. They might build armored vehicles like modified M113, M2 Bradley, or even a WWII-era M4 Sherman tank to battle you for a single oil well. What's your counter by then? Your own tank? Land mines? It all depends on your strategy.

Survive The Post-Apocalyptic Chaos

Even in a post-apocalyptic world, hunger, thirst, disease, poison, or wild animals can still harm you. Eating too much gains weight, eating too little gets you killed. These rules never change, even in an apocalypse. On the other hand, lumbering, mining, fighting, even running, literally every physical activity can give you more muscle, which in turn makes you stronger. As long as you have suitable clothes for various weathers and temperatures, feed yourself a good meal and stay hydrated, you're good to train yourself into an athlete that can punch an Infected off its feet.

Build Your Own World

Use the home building features to create your own territory on the multiplayer open world map, expanding it into a bigger and badder homestead. Fences, farms, livestocks, you name it. Create a self-sustaining homestead. Repel the endless Infected Hordes. You can even make yourself a sports car to have a good time, or an SUV for cross-country driving. But don't be too flamboyant, there're always uneasy eyes watching you. And don't forget, the other survivors can raid your home at any moment they want, so get ready to defend it!

Team Up With Others

Not every other survivor is your enemy, at least not the ones in your Team, Group and Commune. Join a commune on the open map, seize strategic resource points, expand territory, and even have a card game to relax. Being united is a better way to survive this world, but it's also an easier way to get involved in bigger and more bitter turf wars. Humans will always be humans. They will fight each other, forever.
