About the Demo

Windrose is a survival adventure set in an alternative Age of Piracy. It features the classic “build, craft, survive” formula, unfolding across both land and sea.

• On land, the game offers a refined and comprehensive survival experience focused on building, crafting, exploration, and gradual progression. Establish footholds in diverse biomes, expand them into outposts, and prepare for what lies beyond the horizon.

• At sea, take command of your ship, engage in naval combat, board enemy vessels, and seemlessly move seemlessly between ship and shore.

Soulslite combat plays a central role throughout the journey. Face and overcome a variety of enemies inspired by real historical figures and supernatural forces. What begins as a grounded struggle for survival gradually draws you into a wider conflict, culminating in a swashbuckling tale of rival powers and an ancient, unspoken evil.

DEMO CONTENT

This demo offers a focused early slice of Windrose, with approximately 4–6 hours of gameplay. You will experience:

• The first three islands of the Archipelago.

• Early quests and your first ship, including naval combat and boarding.

• Core gameplay systems, with a selection of weapons, enemies, and survival mechanics.

DEMO LIMITATIONS

• Co-op is available through player-hosted sessions.

• Dedicated servers are not supported in the demo and will arrive with the Early Access release.

• Progress does not carry over from the demo to Early Access.
