Über dieses Spiel

After the arrival of beings not from our world, the city of Buenos Aires and its surroundings were overwhelmed by a great flood and a climate shift that transformed the region forever. In the relentless struggle to contain the supposed invasion, several nations fought for control of the land, creating such a hostile environment that Buenos Aires was almost entirely evacuated. Only those willing to fight, resist, or pursue their personal motives chose to stay or venture into these lands.

From this starting point, our role—driven by a personal story—takes us deep into the hostile territory known as the “Abyss.”

AN EVER-CHANGING OPEN WORLD:

The map is divided into territories, each controlled by different groups. Each faction advances and attempts to capture land. You can lead or assist in taking territories, or simply follow your own path and let the world shift on its own.

DYNAMIC NPCs:

Thanks to the “Abyss-Life” system and the “Abyss Director,” all NPCs persist and are constantly simulated. Every NPC has personality stats that influence their actions. Each one becomes relevant—whether enemy, ally, or non-human—since their actions can shape the environment, shift the balance of conflicts, and eventually alter your playthrough.

FACTIONS:

There are several major factions and many smaller ones. Each has its own ideology, politics, and personal history. Your actions for or against them affect your reputation with that faction and its rivals. You can join any faction, but being friends with all of them is nearly impossible—so going solo is always an option.

RELATIONSHIPS:

Because every NPC is unique, you can develop different relationship levels with each one—good, bad, or neutral. This affects their willingness to help you or treat you differently.

RADIO SYSTEM:

Through a personal radio system, you can stay aware of your surroundings, hear updates, receive tasks, missions, music, or even stories.
Every simulated NPC within range communicates through the radio, letting you know if there’s movement nearby or if you’re completely alone.

WEAPONRY:

You’ll need to scavenge, repair, and maintain your gear. Beyond classic firearms like an ARFAL or a military SMG, you can craft homemade weapons on a budget. There are also modified weapons based on traditional models but adapted with makeshift tweaks for different purposes.

SOMETHING LURKS IN THE ABYSS:

Even when you’re alone, the Abyss breathes—and you won’t always feel alone. Something out there watches you, follows you, knows whether you’re alone or not. This may affect your sanity, and you’ll need to fight to maintain balance—staying grounded before the Abyss takes over.

COMPLETE WEATHER SYSTEM:

In the Abyss, it doesn’t just rain. There are various weather patterns that shift constantly depending on the region. Surviving requires protecting yourself from extreme climates with different types of clothing.

EVENTS:

Special events spawn constantly throughout the world, ranging from small faction skirmishes to paranormal occurrences.

What Does This Pre-Alpha Demo Include?

  • A 2x1 km map (just a small piece of the final world).

  • A full first story chapter: “Carhué’s Journey.”

  • Abyss Life AI System (Beta): full simulation and persistence for every NPC in the world.

  • Freeplay Mode — explore non-linearly with no time limits.

  • Weapon modding, attachments, and crafting.

  • Faction System (each faction has its own goals and interests).

  • Ability to switch factions (Oriundos or Yacarés).

  • Contacts System — become friend or enemy of any NPC, regardless of their faction.

  • AI Companions — recruit NPCs and build your own crew.

  • A variety of animated consumables!

What Does This Demo Not Include?

  • The full final map. It doesn’t reach downtown Buenos Aires.

  • Trading and bartering (the system isn’t implemented yet).

  • Major communities and bases (they belong to later territories).

  • Only one creature type for now (the Zancudo).

  • Limited weapon selection (for the moment).

  • NPCs animations and ascetics are not finished

  • NPCs Voices are not final.

What’s the Plan for This Demo?

The important thing is to showcase the atmosphere, weather, and tone.
To give a glimpse of where the main story is heading, while also providing a free-form sandbox to play around as much as you want.

Think of it as a “first episode” — like watching a slice of the first season of a show you like.

Will This Demo Improve Over Time?

Yes. As new features and mechanics are added, the demo will continue to improve.
It will stay limited to the current territory, and maybe include some items or weapons that will appear later.

We’re saving a few things for Early Access… like what?

Oh, right… Will There Be Early Access?

YES. But since we still need to earn our bread by making sure the content is worth it, we’re going to wait until we can deliver more before announcing it.

And What Will Happen to This Demo Once Early Access Arrives?

It will probably remain in some form…
But we won’t lie to you! We might remove it to encourage people to jump straight into the Early Access version.
