DSX - Virtual DualSense Emulation

Bring full DualSense support to your PC games.

This DLC unlocks the Virtual DualSense feature in DSX, letting you use a virtual PlayStation controller for games that only recognize the official hardware. It bridges the gap between console and PC by sending trigger, light, and rumble data to your real controller, whether it’s wired or wireless.

Why a DLC?

This feature exists through a partnership with Nefarius Software Solutions e.U., the team behind the virtual controller driver that powers it. The DLC structure helps support their licensed technology and years of research and development. You’re not just paying for a toggle; you’re helping fund the work that makes it possible.

What’s Included

• Virtual DualSense emulation for native PlayStation controller support

• Adaptive triggers that respond to in-game actions

• Lighting control for the light bar, player indicators, and mute LED

• Standard rumble feedback over both wired and wireless connections

• Options to adjust deadzones, remap buttons, and fine-tune motion and touchpad settings

Haptic feedback and audio passthrough are currently in development and will arrive in a future update.

Activation Help

If you bought the DLC and it’s still locked, try the Sync button to refresh your ownership with Steam.
In DSX v3.1 and newer, the button is located under Virtual Device Options → Virtual DualSense tab or on the Home page.

Looking Ahead

The next evolution, DSX+, is in active development. All current DLC owners will be upgraded automatically.
Planned improvements include:

• Longer offline use, up to one month

• Ability to run DSX without Steam
